Parker Construction renovated this 2,100 square foot modern, energy efficient, riverfront residence in only 10 months. This home also marks the first completion of a green home for Parker Construction.

Before and AfterBefore and After

Green features include on-demand hot water, cultured stone and recycled glass tiles. Recycled resin-based plywood was used, as well as sprayed closed-cell insulation, making the home highly energy efficient. A Nana Wall was installed along the riverfront to not only capitalize on the stunning view, but also to provide natural light and ventilation. The river acts as the home’s natural air conditioner.

Parker Construction added windows so that every room would have a river view. Clear glass handrails were also constructed off the master suite balcony so as not to block the view of the river.
