Church and Sanctuary
05-6012

Church exterior

The sanctuary, which is the older section of the building, built in 1884, was experiencing structural problems and required a total restoration. Significant water damage had compromised the foundation of the building. The sills, and bottom ends of the timbers coming from the foundation had been rotted. PT laid a new foundation higher to avoid future water damage, as well as replaced I-beams and other structural systems. The entirety of the sanctuary was gutted down to the studs and completely rebuilt.

Church pews
Renovation was done in the remaining areas of the church including rehabilitation of the floor and restoration of the pews. PT additionally lowered the floors, making the building accessible for all members of the congregation.
